Dear Families,
We hope you are having a great week! We have attached this week’s club schedule for your reference — please take a moment to review it so your student knows where they are headed each day.
Last week for Career Day, we had a firefighter join us, and it was a huge hit! The students loved getting to see (and even try on!) his equipment and uniform while learning about what his job is like. It was both exciting and educational.
This week, we are thrilled to welcome a builder and architect for Career Day. He has a hands-on activity planned for the students, and we know they are going to really enjoy learning from him.
We also want to share some great news for families: there is no monthly fee for clubs for the remainder of this school year. In past months we have had a fee to support the costs of the clubs but for now we want students to be able to participate in as many clubs as they would like at no cost. We are excited to make this year as accessible and fun as possible for everyone!
Additionally, we have a very exciting opportunity coming up! On Tuesday, February 24th, students are invited to participate in Teen Night at Classic Skating in Orem. Entrance is free, but families will need to provide their own rides. We will still be holding club that day, and I, along with other staff members, plan to be at Classic Skating from 6:00–8:00 p.m. to support and connect with students there.
We encourage students to coordinate carpools with friends during club if they’d like to attend together. This will be a wonderful chance for our rollerblading club students to show off the skills they’ve been practicing!
More details are included below. Please reach out if you have any questions — we’re looking forward to another fun week!
Warmly,
--
