Hello! I am teaching seventh grade science this year, and I couldn't be more excited. We are going to have so much fun becoming scientists together! Some basic information about me: I am from Fort Collins, Colorado. I studied Biology Education at BYU. I am the oldest of four siblings. I have a dog back home who is the cutest! I have a passion for science, and I really love biology--especially plants and fungi. In my free time, I like to read, go outside, do yoga, and watch movies with my husband. I recently finished reading "Braiding Sweetgrass" by Robin Wall Kimmerer, and I love The Batman and Studio Ghibli movies. My husband and I also like to cook (and eat) food together. Some of our favorites to cook and eat are Japanese curry and gyoza (potstickers). I've been a big Harry Potter fan since I was little, and I've recently been playing through the Harry Potter Hogwarts Legacy game. It's so fun! I can't wait for this upcoming school year!
