After living in Washington State for over 30 years, I just spent a decade dodging hurricanes and gators in Naples, Florida before escaping to Utah for mountain air and family hugs. I have a 16-year-old daughter who just started driving (send thoughts and prayers) and a 28-year-old son in the Military serving in Germany- living his best life exploring castles and eating his weight in schnitzel. When I'm not hiking, biking, or corralling teenagers, I'm loving my second career as an educator. I highly value my experiences working with a wide range children from gifted to those needing additional support academically and with the English language. I have enjoyed teaching in various Elementary grade levels to most recently Earth and Space, Life and Physical sciences in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. I look forward to my time at Mt. Nebo Middle School supporting our students in Math, ELA and Reading!
